Happy Halloween (a week late)

So about those "fang looking things" on our porch.......we bought the monster house!  Complete with eyes and a mouth........

The previous home-owner had done this for years.  They already had the decorations up for us when we moved in.  We plan to carry on the tradition each October.

Halloween in Rountree is serious business.  And sort of magical.

I'm getting all kinds of giddy for snow and Christmas.

  1. Awe. Some. What a perfect little neighborhood tradition! In my old neighborhood, the only trick-or-treaters I ever got were teenagers asking for candy, and they wouldn't even bother to dress up! North side problems... :)

    1. Ohhh we had plenty of teenagers here too. At least they bothered to dress up. I kept asking the mister what the age limit should be for trick-or-treating. #scrooge

  4. Oh my goodness. How fun is that? I love that the previous owners felt those decorations belonged with the house. Love that you are keeping up the tradition. And, most of all, loving your new house!!!
